Water Quality Protection and Environmental Sustainability

In order to maintain momentum generated since the mid-1990s for advocating awareness of environmental issues and water quality protection at the local level, additional training was needed for new agents and current agents covering vacancies in these areas. Understanding current environmental issues and environmental conservation management opportunities is critical to successfully fulfill Extension objectives in the area of Natural Resource Conservation and Environmental Sustainability. These videos below were from a N.C. Cooperative Extension Agent training in 2011 provided by faculty from Bio&Ag Engineering, Soil Science, and local Wake county agents that have been active in the environmental area.
