You must make your own arrangements for travel and housing while attending the Vermiculture Conference.
The Holiday Inn Express on 3741 Thistledown Drive, Raleigh is 2.2 miles from the conference venue at Hunt Library. This is the nearest hotel and many attendees stay there. Rooms/suites have been blocked for arrival Friday, November 9, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. and departure Monday, November 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.. They offered us a deeply discounted rate of $114.99 for standard kings, $114.99 for standard double queen rooms, and $NA for suites. These rates do not include taxes of 13.25%. The closest airport is Raleigh-Durham International. It is 14 miles from the conference location at Hunt Library at NC State University. You are responsible for making your own airplane reservations and travel to the Vermiculture Conference and whatever hotel you choose to use.
You are responsible for your own transportation to attend the conference, including flights, travel from the airport to your hotel, and from the hotel to the conference venue. Take a moment to view ground transportation options at Raleigh-Durham Airport. A lot of people use Lyft and Uber, in addition to taxis.
Parking on Campus – You must obtain a visitor parking permit if you want to park a car on campus 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The 2018 Vermiculture Conference is on Saturday and Sunday, so you do not need to purchase a parking permit for those two days.
